Becoming A Chapter Leader
Becoming a Chapter Leader starts with a love for literature and a commitment to fostering community. While there are some qualifications, we’re here to help you meet them if needed.
Requirements:
Membership Requirement: Must be an active member of the Literary Society
Local Network: Must have three or more members from your area who are interested in participating in your chapter. If you don't yet meet this requirement, we will assist you in connecting with members in your area.
Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to plan and organize events or activities, either through prior experience or examples provided during the application process. If you're new to event planning, we'll provide guidance and resources to help you succeed.
Commitment: Willingness to host or facilitate at least one chapter meeting or event per quarter.
Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with members and the Literary Society's central team.
Alignment with Values: A passion for fostering literary discussion and community while upholding the society’s mission and values.
